I just learned today that I have Type II diabetes. I can't say I'm surprised. I have had a history of alcoholism in my family. One aunt with diabetes. And for myself - 4 bags of butterscotch a week. I know I have a weekness for 'sugar'. Because I did not experiene a lot of the symptoms - still - I knew I was overweight. NOW, I want to change. It's a shame that physicalities have to determine that you will change because you want to LIVE. So here I am. I'm ready and open to whatever I need to do to lose the weight and get myself healthy. This was a good introduction article for me - and I will continue to read and gather data to help my life.
